Summer Internship Program for All is an initiative by Vizag Startups, a community for the startups, by the startups to create a culture of self learning among students and make them ready for working in startups. The internship program consists of a 7-15 days of self-driven learning bootcamp consisting of Common and Coding/Technical sessions. In common session the student learns about common skills useful in day to day life like automation techniques, productivity hacks, tools for tasks like banner/logo creation etc and in coding/technical session they become familiar with technologies relevant to web/app development and languages like PHP/Python/Javascript etc.
Till date around 300 students have taken part in this internship program which happens every year during the summer vacation time (May/June). Every year the format is tweaked slightly and some changes are incorporated to make it useful for all the entities involved.
In 2019 the internship program is running in a coworking space and 2 colleges.
